Leeds fans react as Derby close in on £10million move for Krystian Bielik

that Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik is on his way to Championship promotion hopefuls Derby County for a fee of £9.5million this summer – and Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter.

The 21-year-old defender shone for Charlton Athletic last summer, helping the Addicks gain promotion from League One. He clocked up 34 appearances in total, keeping 12 clean sheets and even scoring four times.

However, Charlton have failed to keep the Poland Under-21 international and he returned to the Gunners earlier this summer. Now, it looks as though Bielik could come up against Charlton, in Derby’s colours.

Leeds could be after a centre-back this summer after Pontus Jansson somewhat surprisingly left the club this summer to join Brentford, with the Swedish ace claiming he was sold due to Financial Fairplay requirements.

The Whites have brought in Ben White on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Brighton this summer, and although he has impressed in pre-season, he is very inexperienced and many want another option.

Leeds fans reacted to the reported news that Derby are about to complete the signing of Bielik from Unai Emery’s north Londoners for £10million, and supporters are unhappy as they believe Bielik would have been a good signing.
