‘What on earth’, ‘actual travesty’: Some Leeds United fans react to EFL tweet
♔A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the latest EFL Team of the Week.
🐠One of the Whites contingent made it into the XI – right-back Luke Ayling, who thoroughly impressed in Saturday’s Championship victory over Bristol City.
👍Ayling enjoyed a particularly fruitful first half at Elland Road against the Robins, causing havoc down the opposition’s left flank time and time again along with Helder Costa.
🅺The 28-year-old also scored the winner, which he celebrated with aplomb towards the South Stand.

🧸While Ayling didn’t have as much licence to attack in the second half, he continued to do well, playing his part in an outplaying of the playoff hopefuls.
🅷However, while Ayling made it into the team, some Leeds supporters were wondering how Kalvin Phillips didn’t feature in the XI.
💯Phillips’ passing and tackling was on point for most of the game, and kept Marcelo Bielsa’s side on the front foot in the potentially nervy late stages.
Here is what some Leeds fans have been saying on social media:
Kalvin Phillips must be in the Prem already then

No Kalvin Phillips?

💞How Phillips isn’t in there is beyond me. Pinpoint passes in those conditions, his game has moved up another level since the ban.
