Leeds fans laugh at Millwall manager Neil Harris after comments

Neil Harris has described Millwall’s clash against Leeds United after the international break as the biggest game of his side’s season – and Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter in hysterics.

Millwall come into the match after suffering a penalty-shootout loss to Premier League side Brighton in the FA Cup. Despite leading 2-0 with minutes remaining, Brighton pegged the Lions back.

Harris would have been forgiven and agreed with for thinking the FA Cup quarter-final was the biggest game of the season for Millwall. However, the gaffer has come out with some remarkable comments.

As Leeds take on Millwall on March 30, Harris immediately commented on the clash despite the heartbreaking loss to Brighton. The Lions gaffer revelled in the rivalry between Leeds and Millwall as a player for the latter.

“The biggest game of the season by far, miles bigger than today, is Leeds away in two weeks’ time. We’ve got five games here at The Den in the last eight – they are the games I expect us to win,”

Leeds drew with Millwall earlier in the season 1-1, as Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison squeezed a left-footed effort from 20 yards past goalkeeper Ben Amos in the 89th minute.

Upon reading Harris’ comments, Leeds fans reacted hilariously on Twitter to Harris’ comments. Many teased the Millwall manager, while others are dumbfounded to why he thinks Leeds is bigger than the FA Cup semi-finals.
