Leeds fans hit out at Andrea Radrizzani over Adam Forshaw tweet

If there was one player in the Leeds United squad who deserved a slice of luck this season, it was surely Adam Forshaw.

The 30-year-old went into this campaign having not made a competitive appearance in almost two years due to injuries.

Unfortunately, along the way, there have seemingly been several false dawns for the midfielder. He appeared for the under-23s late last season, but seemed to pick up another knock in that game.

He even started the Carabao Cup clash with Crewe. But cruelly, it appears that Forshaw is going to have to work his way back once again.

But the news has prompted some of the fans to hit out at Andrea Radrizzani on Twitter over a tweet he sent out in August.

The Italian was asked by a supporter about the club signing a new midfielder in the window. And he responded with the name: Adam Forshaw.
