Leeds fans fuming with ‘pathetic’ decision about Raphinha

Some Leeds United fans were left fuming after the latest team news regarding their clash with Liverpool emerged.

Raphinha could miss the clash against Liverpool this weekend because of his decision not to turn up for international duty.

Four nations, Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay and Chile wants players, who did not accept their call ups, to be banned.

Under , any players that did not turn up for international duty can be banned for five days. Any ban will be effective from the .

The UK refused to overturn their rules for players who went to red-list countries. Under the current regulations, anyone who goes to a red-list country needs to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days upon their arrival in the UK.

However, clubs are in talks with officials about overturning the sanctions from the world governing body.

Raphinha is a big miss, but Leeds have good chance against Liverpool

Leeds have a against Liverpool since they returned to the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have won none and drawn the other of the league encounters against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Losing Raphinha is big for Leeds, however, they still have a great chance to get a result against Liverpool.

Should the ban carry over to the weekend, the Merseysiders will be without Alisson, Fabinho and Roberton Firmino.

Never has Bielsa and the Whites been handed a golden opportunity to beat a big six club.

Alisson has been a rock in goal, keeping mass amounts of clean sheets since his move from Roma. Meanwhile, Fabinho’s ability to shield the Reds defence has made him a key player for Klopp.

And whilst Firmino is far from potent, he has the all-around game to hurt any team.

With all three potentially out, Leeds have a fantastic chance at getting a result this weekend.
