Leeds fans discuss what Jack Harrison did after Tyler Roberts scored on Tuesday

Leeds United secured a brilliant 2-0 win on Tuesday night against Southampton despite Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side welcoming back home supporters – and Leeds fans have reacted to what Jack Harrison did after the second goal.

Tyler Roberts found the back of the net in injury time as a quick Kiko Casilla kick found Raphinha who laid the ball into the Wales star. Despite Harrison being in a better position, Roberts went alone and initially lost the ball.

It fell to Patrick Bamford who lashed an effort towards goal which was saved by Alex McCarthy – only for Roberts to roll home an effort, his first Premier League goal in what was his 26th appearance. A big moment for Roberts.

Had Leeds not scored, though, Manchester City loanee Harrison would have had a right to feel very aggrieved. With the left-footer to the left of Roberts, he should really have received a pass from Roberts – who went himself.

Roberts did eventually finish, and finish well. But replays of the goal showed a very frustrated Harrison reacting angrily during Bamford’s shot and then Roberts effort – and then trudging over to celebrate after failing to get a pass.

Leeds fans reacted on Twitter to 24-year-old Harrison’s reaction, and many applauded him for his desire to score – while others laughed at the uncapped Englishman for what is a surprising reaction to his teammate’s first strike.
