Leeds fans discuss Ryan Edmondson after confirming Elland Road return on Instagram
Ryan Edmondson has confirmed on Instagram that he has𒅌 returned to Leeds United after a half-seas♔on loan spell with Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen – and Leeds supporters have responded on Instagram to his return.
Edmondson, 19, joined Aber🦂deen on loan in the summer after failing to be given a chance under Marcelo Bielsa. He had managed two senio🐼r Leeds appearances before Bielsa arrived, but has failed to get an opportunity since.
He found game time much more regular at Pittodrie, clocking up 16 appe🉐arances in all competitions – facing Sporting Lisbon, Celtic and Rangers during his time un♋der Derek McInnes’ side. However, he scored just two goals.
Both came in t🐈he same match, netting twice in a 4-2 league win over Hamilton. He also laid on two assists a✅nd while his loan could be extended, Edmondson has confirmed he has returned to Leeds with a post on Instagram.
Edmondson is out of contract in the summer and his future certainly hangs in the balance. At Leeds𝓰, he looks almost certain to fail in his chance of game time – with Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood impre💜ssing in the Under-23’s.
Leeds supporters have responded on Twitter to the news that Edmondson had returned to Yorkshire from Scotti⛄sh side Aberdeen – and many feel he has the quality to make an impact as a squad pl🎶ayer.

I’ve a lot of time for him. He’s a big brute of𝐆 a lad, and can put the fear of God into most defℱenders. Hopefully this loan has made him hungrier to get into our first team squad.
