Leeds fans discuss Pascal Struijk display vs West Ham on Twitter
A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of Pascal Struijk after the Whites’ incredible game against West Ham on Sunday.
Jack Harrison was certainly the star of the show from a Leeds perspective. The winger scored a stunning hat-trick as Leeds scored three in a league game for the second time on the spin.

Struijk handed Leeds a massive boost ahead of their second trip to the London Stadium this month. The defender joined Rodrigo in returning from injury for the Premier League clash.
The 22-year-old had missed Leeds’ previous five league games after coming off in the win over Crystal Palace. But he came into the heart of the defence against the Hammers. He reignited his partnership with Luke Ayling, with the pair featuring together on a number of occasions midway through last season.

And he went on to produce an outstanding performance at centre-back.
Struijk was tasked with handling Michail Antonio. And, much like Leo Hjelde the previous week in the FA Cup, Struijk dealt with the task superbly.
He won more aerial duels than any Leeds player (), which is saying something considering the man he was marking. And he looked incredibly composed when in possession.
Struijk has been a revelation since Leeds sealed promotion in 2020. It is easy to forget that the opening day trip to Liverpool last season marked the first time he started a league game at centre-back for the Whites.
It is not hard to imagine that Marcelo Bielsa would have preferred to reintroduce Struijk more gradually. But the Leeds boss had little choice before Sunday’s game.

Struijk is an absolute machine. He has to start every game. He’s bullied Antonio so far today. Not many can do that.
