Leeds fans are all saying the same thing as club reportedly make decision on £17m-rated Liverpool ace

Leeds United have long been linked with a move for Liverpool outcast Harry Wilson. The Wales star continues to be linked with an Anfield exit, after another loan spell. The Athletic, though, report that Leeds have made a decision on Wilson – and Leeds fans think it is the right decision.

Wilson, 24, went on loan for the fifth time last season. It was a surprise move. Having starred in the Premier League for Bournemouth during 2019-20, he dropped back into the Championship with Cardiff City. He unsurprisingly impressed, having a hand in 19 goals during 37 games.

have now claimed that Leeds are interested in signing Wilson this summer. He is a player that Marcelo Bielsa clearly likes. But the Whites have made the decision not to sign him, as Liverpool are requesting a hefty fee of £17million for the ex-Derby and Hull loanee’s signature.

What are Leeds fans saying about Liverpool man Wilson?

Leeds do need a player like Wilson. They need an attacking midfielder, hence the interest in Rodrigo De Paul last summer. Tyler Roberts and Rodrigo have been used in the role but for both – it has been inconsistent throughout 2020-21. Wilson can play in the 10, or out wide.

Leeds fans, though, are in agreement with their club’s reported decision to ignore Liverpool ace Wilson this summer – at a price of £17million. Many believe that he is not worth such a tall figure, especially given Leeds signed Raphinha from Rennes for similar. One fan suggested a figure of £8million is fairer.
