Leeds fans applaud Dan James for his assist in win over Norwich City
Dan James laid on a brilliant assist for Leeds on Sunday as the Whites earned three points over Norwich – and Leeds fans praised the new signing.
James, 23, was handed a start against Norwich – his seventh Premier League appearance for Leeds. The Wales ace has struggled to make an impact.
But against Norwich, he was everywhere. The £25million summer addition was unlucky not to score in the first 45 having an effort cleared off the line.
However, he did finally get his first goal involvement for Leeds – creating the opener with a gorgeous pass into the path of Raphinha to score.
Playing up top at times, James turned a Norwich player before impulsively spraying the ball out to Raphinha. He cut inside, scoring superbly.
It had been coming for Leeds and James, but it needed the magic of Raphinha to finally open the scoring. Eventually, Leeds won 2-1.

What are Leeds fans saying about James on Twitter, after his assist?
Marcelo Bielsa has cleverly incorporated three wingers into the Leeds side. Raphinha as a 10 initially, with James and Jack Harrison on both flanks.
But the quartet interchanged throughout. Rodrigo dropped in, Harrison went up top, Raphinha was on the right at times – fluid, to say the least.
It saw Leeds create numerous chances but ultimately, it was a mistake from Tim Krul that saw Rodrigo score the winner. James, though, was excellent.
Many Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to applaud 27-time Wales star James for his assist – on supporter labelling the pass as a “thing of beauty”.
