Report: Leeds, Everton and Vieira all now battling to sign ‘electric’ £12m star in January
Leeds United, Everton and Crystal Palace are among the teams keen on signing Marseille striker Bamba Dieng in January.
Dieng is yet to sign a new deal with Marseille and with him due to enter the final 18 months of his contract, a move away could be on the cards. The French side do want to keep Dieng, but reports that as many as five Premier League clubs are keen on him.
lists Leeds, Everton, Palace, Leicester and West Ham as being among the clubs keen on signing Dieng.

For Leeds, interest in Dieng is nothing new. They wanted to sign the forward in the summer but in the end, missed out as Jesse Marsch opted for a number of other new faces instead.
However, with Patrick Bamford continually injured, a striker could well be a priority for Marsch in January. Dieng, with so little left on his contract, could well be an attractive proposition.
Valued at around the £12m mark by Marseille, Dieng has found himself on the bench at periods this season. A move to England, then, might just appeal to the Senegalese international.
TBR’s View: Leeds need a striker and Dieng might suit
Bamba Dieng certainly has the pace and energy to help Leeds out right now. Dubbed as having ‘electric’ pace previously, Dieng is a serious threat when he is on his game.
Leeds do need to get themselves a new forward. Even if Bamford was fit, there’d still be an argument to bring another in, despite the good form of Rodrigo.
Dieng is one of the few players in January who won’t break the bank for Leeds. And if that £12m fee is still there or even better, reduced, then it would be a low risk signing for the club.
