Leeds duo Kemar Roofe and Izzy Brown could form deadly partnership

Leeds United fans are yet to see Izzy Brown in action following his summer arrival on loan from Chelsea due to injury, but he closed in on a first-team debut by at least featuring in an Under-23s game recently.

It’s unclear on when the 21-year-old will be ready for the Whites, but he is going to add some extra firepower in the final third when available.

Brown is an exciting young talent that plays as an attacking midfielder and usually operates in the number 10 role behind the centre-forward.

The Englishman has previously impressed in the Championship during loan spells with Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town, where he proved to be a serious goal threat.

Leeds currently have Kemar Roofe as their first-choice striker and he’s already chalked up seven league goals.

The 25-year-old is an intelligent attacker with great movement and there could be the potential for a deadly combination if he can get on the same wavelength as Brown.

Bielsa may have to wait to unleash loan signing Brown in his Leeds team, but the connection he strikes up with Roofe will be an interesting one to monitor.
