Leeds door may be opened next season for youngster Jamie Shackleton
Leeds United’s Adam Forshaw is reportedly a summer target for Fulham.
l, Fulham are keen on the 27-year-old for next season following their relegation from the Premier League.
It is understood that they could lose midfielders from Craven Cottage this summer and have identified someone with Championship experience.
The report details that Leeds spent £4.5million on Forshaw in January 2018, while Aston Villa are chasing another one of their midfielders in the shape of Kalvin Phillips.
It’s set to be a busy summer at Elland Road trying to keep hold of prized assets and manager Marcelo Bielsa may need a reshuffle in the centre of the park.
A chance for academy graduate Jamie Shackleton would surely arrive if Forshaw exits amid interest.

Leeds would be thin on the ground if Forshaw leaves for Fulham, but may already have a replacement in their ranks.
Shackleton has come through the youth system for the Yorkshire club and Bielsa did use him at times last season.
He made 24 senior appearances across all competitions last season and slotted in at full-back several times when numbers were short.
But he’s a central midfielder by trade that can play a box-to-box role and played in both play-off semi-final games.
Shackleton is full of running and tidy in possession, which is why he should be promoted to more playing time if senior members exit during the summer.
