Robin Koch sends message about Leeds medical staff after weekend incident
Leeds United defender Robin Koch has taken to Instagram to provide an update on his injury status following yesterday’s clash with Manchester United.

Koch left the field after a clash of heads despite immediately appearing to be ok. The club have since that Koch did indeed pass all the relevant concussion tests, before developing symptoms afterwards and being forced to leave the field.
The big German defender was missed by Leeds as they eventually succumbed to a 4-2 loss against United. His injury was symptomatic of a season riddled with knocks and setbacks for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. However, Koch has taken to social media just now to calm any fears of long-term damage and confirmed he feels much better today.
Leeds will certainly be hoping to have Koch back ASAP. They face another massive game at Liverpool this week and at the moment, are firmly in the relegation mix.
The Whites are struggling for consistency and once again, were wide open in defence at times yesterday.
TBR’s View: Koch News Is Good News But Leeds Continue To Suffer
Marcelo Bielsa must be wondering how many mirrors he broke in a past life with how things have gone for Leeds this season. Injury after injury has happened, and to big and important players too.
Luckily, Koch is ok. And as he says, the Leeds medical staff played a big part in helping him out here.
Between now and the end of the season, Leeds need all their best players available. Defensively, too, they have to get a settled side. Hopefully, then, Koch can return before long and inspire a late season run of form to stave off that worry of dropping back into the Championship.
