Leeds could sign attacker who has a 100% Premier League scoring record this summer
Leeds United may well be playing Premier League football next season.
The Whites are very much in that promotion mix, and while it will be touch-and-go right up until the end of the season, you’d be a fool to discount Leeds in this hunt.
Of course, promotion to the Premier League comes with a huge cash windfall, and if Leeds are to go up, they will have business to do this summer.
Speaking on , Ben Jacobs has been discussing what Leeds could do this summer, and he says that Ben Brereton Diaz could be a player who comes to Elland Road this summer, claiming that the Chile international has been on the Whites’ radar for a long time.

Leeds could go for Brereton Diaz
Jacobs spoke about the attacker.
“Come the summer I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Leeds revisiting an old target in Ben Brereton Diaz. He’s at Sheffield United but that’s a straight loan, so if Leeds get promoted don’t be surprised if they come back in for Brereton Diaz who has been on their radar for quite some time,” Jacobs said.
Exciting
This would certainly be an exciting signing if Leeds got this one over the line.
Yes, Brereton Diaz has struggled in Spain, but let’s not forget, he was dynamite in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers, and he’s adapted to the Premier League well with Sheffield United so far.
It’s early days, but as things stand he has a 100% scoring record in the Premier League, netting twice in two appearances in the English top-flight, and while he’s not going to keep that up, the fact that he’s already proven he can score in a struggling team is a huge positive.
Don’t be shocked if this is one Leeds seriously ponder heading into the summer.
