Leeds chances of signing £20m star may have increased, he’d ‘jump at the chance’ to play for Marsch – TBR View
Leeds United opted to part company with Marcelo Bielsa last week in wake of the club’s recent poor run of form.
The Whites board quickly replaced the Argentine, bringing in Jesse Marsch to Elland Road on a deal until 2025.
Marsch previously managed MLS teams Montreal Impact and New York Red Bulls before moving overseas to Red Bull Salzburg.

The 48-year-old began the season in charge of RB Leipzig, but mutually parted ways with the Bundesliga club in December.
Although Marsch’s lack of Premier League experience and departure from his last club may have concerned some fans, some of his former players have sung his praises.
One of those is a player Leeds reportedly tried to sign in January and are apparently hoping to land in summer.
The Whites first attempted to sign Brendan Aaronson with an initial £15million bid two months ago, before upping their offer to £20million.
However, Salzburg held firm – unsurprising really, given how much is at stake for them this season.
reported at the time that Leeds will try again for Aaronson in the summer.
The United States international was reportedly keen to work with Bielsa.
That’s not to say his departure from Elland Road will put a spanner in the works, however.

“Fantastic coach”
In fact, Aaronson has spoken highly of Marsch in the past.
“I’ve learned so much [under him],” the 21-year-old told the YouTube channel, via .
“Jesse’s a fantastic coach for me.
“He’s very open, very tactical, does film sessions with you. He teaches you other things.
“Formation wise, for me it’s been four or five formations. He likes trying things and I like that.
“He’s definitely a pressing coach and that’s what he’s really focussed on.”
Journalist Dean Jones recently told that he felt Aaronson “would jump at the chance” to join Leeds if Marsch took the reins.
Leeds’ chances of landing the American prodigy may well have increased now his compatriot is in the Elland Road dugout.
