that he feels Steven Davis has plenty to offer Rangers with the midfielder still on loan at Ibrox from Premier League side Southampton.
The 34-year-old midfielder endured a difficult return to Ibrox after being brought back to the club by Steven Gerrard. He was even left on the bench against Aberdeen and Hibernian.
But in the two most recent outings, Davis has regained the kind of form that earned him a move down south in 2012. He has played every single minute of the wins over Motherwell and Hearts.
Former Rangers captain and Davis’ old teammate McCulloch believes the ex-Fulham star still has lots to give Rangers. His £60k-a-week () Southampton contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
“I am delighted for him because he did have his critics earlier in the season when he was perhaps a yard off it and wasn’t himself. You are seeing the real Steven Davis now,”

Linking the midfield to the attack in the past couple of matches has finally seen Rangers boast a number 10 that can split Scottish Premiership defences.
Ovie Ejaria showed that in glimpses during the first half of the season. Scott Arfield would rather go beyond the striker and score himself, rather than connect passes and players.
Davis’ intelligence and awareness make him an absolute must to sign permanently in the summer.
