Manchester City’s new home shirt for 2022/23 will be released on Thursday and will pay tribute to club legend Colin Bell.
Images have leaked on social media of the Citizens’ home jersey for the next campaign.
If Liverpool lose at Southampton tomorrow night, Manchester City will be crowned champions of the Premier League for a sixth time and will leapfrog Chelsea into second place on the Premier League’s all-time winners list.
Twitter account MCFC lads have shared a picture of City’s home kit for next season which has been leaded by .
Once again sponsored by Puma and Etihad Airways, unlike this year, the badge on the home shirt will be in the middle of the jersey for next season.
In Colin Bell’s era the badge was worn in the middle and City have decided to bring this back as a tribute to Bell for next season.
There is also red lines on the collar and sleeves, something of which was not present on the current season’s sky blue jersey.
Erling Haaland, who could become the best Norwegian player to play in the Premier League, will be donning the shirt next season following his signing from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

The late Colin Bell, who passed away in January last year at the age of 74, is a Manchester City legend following his 13-year spell at the club following his arrival from Bury in 1966.
Regarded as one of the club’s greatest-ever players, Bell formed part of the Bell-Lee-Summerbee trio in the late 1960s and 1970s.
In 2004, the West Stand of the City of Manchester Stadium was later named in his honour.

Only three players have scored more goals than Bell for Manchester City in all competitions: Sergio Aguero with 252 goals, Eric Brook with 177 goals and Tommy Johnson with 166 goals.
Bell scored 152 goals for Manchester City in all competitions and he won eight trophies with the club.
