Kyle Walker names the former Tottenham player who Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly really reminds him of
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a player break onto the scene like Myles Lewis-Skelly has at Arsenal.
Indeed, within six months, Myles Lewis-Skelly has gone from making his Premier League d🍎ebut to becoming a fully-fledged England international, starring against the likes of PSG and Real Madrid.
Lewis-Skelly has earned huge praise this season, while Ethan Nwaneri looks like another young star at Arsenal.
Speaking on his podcast, Kyle Walker has beenﷺ discussing Lewis-Skelly’s rise to prominence after playing with him for E🅷ngland, and, interestingly, Walker made a comparison between Lewis-Skelly and one of his former Tottenham teammates.

Kyle Walker says Myles Lewis-Skelly is like Danny Rose
Walker says that Lewis-Skelly really reminds him of D🐎anny Rose 🔥as a player.
The AC Milan ace says the ܫteenager uses his body in a similar way to Rose, while he also has a brilliant left foot and a good footbal🅘ling brain.
“The game has changed. I think 🔯the quality of the players that we’re seeing in this day and age, in the last episode, we were talking about Myles. This is a 17, 18 year old that’s just broke on to the scene at Arsenal and all of🐽 a sudden he’s taking the international stage in his stride, which is, could I have done that at his age? Maybe not, maybe not,’ Walker said.
“He is physical. You know, he reminds me of a little bit of a guest that we had on the first season, Danny ♏Rose. Yeah, he reminds me of Danny Rose, how he plays, he uses his body well and he’s got a good left foot and a good football brain.”
Myles Lewis-Skelly aged 18 compared to Danny Rose
The comparison between Lewis-Skelly and Rose is rather apt, both ღmen are left-backs who broke through in north London at a young 𝓡age.
However, it has to be said that Lewis-Skelly is way ahead of where Rose was at the age of 18🦹.

Rose hadn’t made his professiꦬonal debut at this age, while Lewis-Skelly is already an England international with Champions League experience at this point.
Danny Rose was fantastic in his prime for Totten༒ham, and there’s every reason to believe that Lewis-Skelly can reach that level and even go higher👍 than Rose ever did at Spurs.
Arsenal have a real ge🔜m on ꦑtheir hands here, and there’s plenty of reason to be excited about what the teenager can do as he grows and matures even further.
