Kurt Zouma delivers update on his future that will excite Everton fans
that he is enjoying his time on loan at Everton, with a permanent deal from Chelsea to Goodison Park yet to be discussed.
The 24-year-old has excelled for the Toffees this season on loan from Chelsea. He has clocked up 31 appearances in all competitions for Marco Silva’s side and has even scored two goals.
Zouma joined Chelsea back in January 2014 for a fee of £13million (), but has only managed 71 appearances for the west Londoners since his move to the capital. An anterior cruciate ligament limited his game time.
Subsequent loans at Stoke City and now Everton have followed the injury, and the three-time France international was asked whether he wanted a permanent move to Goodison Park.

“I am very happy. I am enjoying my season. I am enjoying my time here. It is not finished yet. I am still enjoying it,” “I have been playing a lot. That was my target when I signed. The loan move has been very important.
“After the injury I wanted to play a lot of games. That is what I did the last two seasons – at Stoke and now here. I have been playing a lot. I just wanted to be back to my level. That is what I did.”
TBR’s view
Zouma has been one of the first names on the team sheet in recent weeks. Michael Keane has reinvented himself while veteran Phil Jagielka has impressed when given the chance, but they are in the shadow of Zouma.
If Everton can sign Zouma on a permanent basis, then they will be bringing in a player that can become a hero at Goodison Park for years to come. At just 24, he is only going to get better.
