Krystian Bielik not in Arsenal’s 2019/20 plans and AC Milan reportedly want him

Arsenal prospect Krystian Bielik has been told he’s not in Unai Emery’s plans for 2019/20,

They that despite the fact that the 21-year-old Pole impressed out on loan at Charlton last season, he hasn’t done enough to prove that he can make an impact in the coming season.

The powers that be at Arsenal would rather he went out on loan for the next campaign, but Italian side AC Milan are keen to buy him this summer.

Arsenal’s plan is for him to sign a new contract and leave the club on a temporary basis, but the prospect of improved gametime at the San Siro could prove hard to turn down.

In a summer where Arsenal are short on transfer funds, bringing in their own young talent could be the way forward and Bielik was hugely impressive at the European Under-21 Championship this summer as well.

That said, there’s a huge jump up from League One to the Arsenal first team and it would be a big ask for him to make the leap.

He can play at the back or in holding midfield, which are two positions Arsenal need to strengthen in, but also two areas where they’ve had enough of young players being overpromoted.
