Kris Boyd predicts three Celtic midfielders to leave, one linked with Arsenal
K that he thinks Celtic midfielders Callum McGregor, Scott Brown and Ryan Christie could all leave Parkhead in the summer – the latter of which has been linked with Arsenal this month.
Celtic have fallen to a whopping 20 points behind Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race and many pundits are already stating that the league is already done. Some are calling for Celtic to begin planning for next season.
McGregor, now 27, has captained the Celtic side with Christie and Brown nudged out of the team. He has been linked with moves down south but has since remained to surpass 300 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish champions.
Brown is in the final year of his contract and is likely to go, while Christie is a target for Arsenal this month – , though the Gunners look set to sign Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard. Boyd thinks all three will go in the summer.
