‘Konate will like this’: Some Liverpool fans react to what Saul Niguez tweeted last night
Liverpool fans have quickly urged Saul to join them after he posted a picture of Dragon Ball Z on Twitter last night.
Dragon Ball Z connections
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Atletico Madrid midfielder all summer (), but are yet to really push ahead with signing the midfielder.
However, his latest tweet drew a lot of attention from Liverpool fans.
Now, you may be asking why Reds supporters had an interest in Dragon Ball Z all of a sudden.
Konate connection
And it all stems from Ibrahima Konate, who is a massive fan of the show.
Konate is Liverpool’s only signing of the summer, and almost immediately after joining he posted a picture of Goku, from the series.
Konate also spoke about Dragon Ball Z when speaking about his idols, as he referenced Vegeta when talking .
Saul may not know of Konate’s fascination with the programme yet.
But if he was to join, he would at least have something in common with Liverpool’s newest signing.
And the Anfield crowd would seemingly love it if Saul and Konate were watching episodes together on Merseyside in the near future.
