Klopp says 17-year-old Liverpool gem gets the same shouts as a 30-year-old in training
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the senior Reds players treat Anfield prodigy Ben Doak just like a veteran in training sessions.
The Liverpool boss, speaking to , says the 17-year-old gets the “same shout as a 30-year-old” at the AXA Training Centre, as do Liverpool’s other ris♒ing stars.
Klopp spoke of how, in wake of several senior dep🎃artures in the summer, the Liverpool setup has undergone a shake-up.
The likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino all le✤ft Anfield, and several academy talents have been able to step up.
“The group is a♉ completely new se♛t-up,” said Klopp.

“A lot of our senior players, who werꦆe super imp꧒ortant for us – nothing would have happened without them – are not here anymore.
“We restructured the whole group, so 𝓰the middle-aged guys are the older guys, the young guys are the middle-aged guys and the very young are just the younger ones.”
‘A show of respect’
This shak♕e-up has meant that those now further up the pecking order are able to share their experience with those whose positions they were in just a few years ago.
“Everyone was in the role two yea𝔍rs before so th♔ey’re very open to helping all of [the young players].
“[Ben] Doak was a few weeks out but the other play꧙ers don’t treat him like a kid. He gets the same shout as a 30-year-old in training. That’s a show of respect.
“They all h♔ave that. Luke [Chambers], Calum [Scanlon], James [McCo🐻nnell].”
Ben Doak looks like future star for Liverpool
It’s gr🌜eat to hear that Liverpool’s academy talents who are in and around the first team get treated the same as the seniors.
It shows that everyone training in the senior set-up is on an equal footing, and also that the🌌 youngsters are at the level required, and stand to learn a lot more quickly too.
Doak, as the yo🦋ungest of the Liverpool academy graduates, looks like he has an especially outstanding future ahead of him.
He doesn’t turn 18 until l♋ater this month, but already he has made eight competitive appearances for the Reds.
Described by Liverpool icon James Milner as having ‘absolutely incredible’ abilities, the teenager certainly looks like he has a very bright future ahead 𝐆of him.
