Klopp could unleash the ‘best’ Liverpool youngster ‘since Trent’ v PNE, fans would erupt – TBR View

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has always given Reds youngsters a chance in the cup competitions.

On Wednesday, he is likely to do the same as the Anfield outfit heads to Preston in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

And one player who could make the Liverpool squad is arguably one of the most highly rated at Kirkby in recent years.

That player is Mateusz Musialowski, who has been making waves at the club since arriving last year.

The 18-year-old forward joined the Liverpool setup from Polish outfit Lodz in August 2020.

Musialowski has made 36 age-level appearances for the Reds, registering an impressive 15 goals and three assists.

The Poland youth international has only just turned 18, but he’s already shining for the Under-23s, with three goals from seven Premier League 2 games.

Fans have compared Musialowski to Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho in the past:

One fan even said Musialowski is the best Liverpool academy talent since Trent Alexander-Arnold:

On Monday evening, the U23s were in PL2 action against Blackburn, and Musialowski wasn’t in the squad.

This suggests the teenager could be in line to feature against Preston.

No doubt Liverpool fans would celebrate his inclusion in the squad and potential debut.

And if he got a start, that’d be absolutely amazing, as he looks like a future star.
