Kilgallon reacts to Brenden Aaronson performance against Chelsea
Matt Kilgallon that he does not believe Brenden Aaronson has a weakness after his performance in Leeds United’s stunning win against Chelsea on Sunday.
Leeds enjoyed an amazing afternoon at Elland Road. Goals from Aaronson, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison earned the Whites a 3-0 victory over Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The visitors had a couple of early openings. However, Leeds were a class apart all over the pitch. And Chelsea had a torrid time dealing with the front four, consisting of the three goalscorers and Daniel James.
It was Aaronson who broke the deadlock, forcing Edouard Mendy into an awful mistake. The American has been a revelation ever since arriving in the Premier League. But his display this weekend was surely his best yet.

Certainly, Kilgallon could not praise his performance higher – apart from suggesting that he wants to see even more of the 21-year-old over the coming weeks.
“Really impressed with him, everything, I don’t think he’s got a weakness,” . “He works hard, he defends well, he gets back in position early, does everything right. He looks like a good lad out there, he wants to do as well as he can.
“And he’s come into the Premier League and absolutely just taken to it so easily. Gives everything, he runs around and gives it everything. But I think we need him on there for 90. I think he’s that good.”
Aaronson shines in amazing Leeds performance against Chelsea
It is quickly becoming clear why Leeds made Aaronson their first signing of the summer. He was arguably the Whites’ best player in pre-season.
And he shone on the opening day in the 2-1 victory over Wolves. After a quieter day against Southampton, he was back to his best against Chelsea.
He tore Tuchel’s side apart. And there is no reason why he may not get even better as he continues to settle in in the Premier League.
Certainly, Leeds bringing Aaronson in in the summer is looking like an absolute masterstroke.
