Kiko Casilla and Luke Ayling both react after what’s just happened to 22-year-old Leeds loanee
Leeds loanee Leif Davis has been promoted to the Premier League with Bournemouth after their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
The Cherries are back in the big time after two seasons away, with Scott Parker having guided them to promotion from the Championship.
The 22-year-old was not in the squad for last night’s game and he has not perhaps had as much gametime as he might have liked this season.
Davis took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement on a night of huge celebration for everyone with a Bournemouth persuasion.
Leif Davis promoted with Bournemouth
There were some messages of congratulation from some Leeds teammates, who of course experienced promotion themselves in the not so distant past.
The possibility still cannot be ruled out that Leeds and Bournemouth will swap divisions when the end of the season comes and all the games have been played.
The Whites are in real relegation danger now after recent wins by Burnley and Everton, and face a tricky trip to face Arsenal next up.
Kiko Casilla, Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper all left messages for Davis, whose last Championship appearance was in March’s 2-0 win over Derby, as per .

Davis is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at Elland Road and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the left-footer.
He was of course loaned out by Marcelo Bielsa and now he has a new manager in Jesse Marsch, who will have his own ideas about the makeup of his squad.
It could be a big summer ahead for Davis but he should have a spring in his step after last night’s achievement.
Bournemouth now know which division they will be playing in next term and Leeds will want similar certainty – and just as positive an outcome – as soon as possible.
