Kieran Gibbs blown away by what 26-year-old Arsenal player did yesterday vs Crystal Palace
Kieran Gibbs has praised Gabriel Jesus’ performance for Arsenal this weekend against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Gunners finally returned to winning ways as the north London side claimed a comfortable 5-0 victory against the Eagles, with Arsenal back up to third in the league table.
Whilst Jesus didn’t get on the scoresheet, the 26-year-old striker was excellent on the day, with the Brazilian international assisting Leandro Trossard for the third goal of the match.

And , former Arsenal defender Gibbs was full of praise for Jesus’ performance at the Emirates Stadium, which was one of the attacker’s best in some time.
Indeed, Arsenal have needed a win after a disastrous festive period, and Jesus showed yesterday that he is slowly returning to his best form, something the north London side have missed greatly.
Gibbs said: “It would have been nice to see [Gabriel] Jesus on the scoresheet, but I think his influence on the game today was undeniable and he’s a brilliant player.”
Gabriel Jesus looked like his best again for Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Jesus’ form has been unusual this season, to say the least, yet the former Manchester City star looked back to his best this weekend against Palace.
Like so many Arsenal fans have pointed out, the midseason trip to Dubai could be the catalyst for the north London side getting back to their best.
And based off Saturday’s performance against Palace, the training camp has done just that, with Jesus, especially, looking like his former best against the Eagles.
Indeed, Jesus still has some way to go before he’s in the sort of form that could help Arsenal win the league, but Saturday’s showing was a convincing one, and one that was worthy of praise.
