Kevin Nolan claims one Newcastle player should have been sent off against Nottingham Forest
Newcastle picked up a huge win at Nottingham Forest as they sprung into life ahead of the international break.
Going to Fo🃏rest was never going ಞto be easy for the Magpies with the Reds in good form under Nuno Santo and flying high in the table.
Goals from Alexander Isak, Joelinton and then Harvey Barnes sealed a fine win for Eddie Howe’s side.
However, things could have been different for Newcastle with the game at 1-1 as Dan Burn – a༒lready on a ye🤡llow card – hauled down a Forest player to stop a counter attack.
And according to former Newcastle midfielder Kevin Nolan, it was very much a case of Newc꧋astle and Burnꦺ getting away with one.

Dan Burn told he should have been sent off for Newcastle at Nottingham Forest
Commenting on the incident for , former Newcastle man Nolan admitted that in his view, Burn𒊎 should 🉐have been sent off for the Mags.
“Burn is a lucky lucky boy. He stopped the momentum of the counter-attack while on a yellow card. It’s a yellow by the laws of the game, he’s got that o♈ne wrong Anthony Taylor,” Nolan said.
Newcastle get a stroke of luck in big win at City Ground
Nolan is spot on here. Dan Burn knew what he was doing🦩 and in the end, he was lucky not to see red when on another day he might have gone.
Sometimes though, that stroke of luck is needed and N🎀ewcastle will not care with the re✱sult firmly in the bag.
Going into a break from Premier League football, Eddie Howe will have felt it was vital to go wꦐith a winning fe❀eling to breed confidence at the club.
Now the trick for Newcastle is to find the c💎onsistency in their performances and results to get themselves involved in what will be a frantic race for fourth.
