of Rangers’ 1-1 draw with Young Boys that he believes Ibrox can give Steven Gerrard’s side a chance against anybody – and has picked four teams he hopes Rangers draw.
Rangers needed a point at Ibrox on Thursday night as they welcomed Swiss side Young Boys to Glasgow. Rangers suffered defeat in the previous fixture, as Young Boys scored an injury-time winner.
This time around, Alfredo Morelos gave Rangers the lead in the first half and could have had a penalty, too. Young Boys equalised in the 89th minute through a Borna Barisic own goal, meaning Rangers qualified in second place – behind Porto.
Former Rangers star Miller was asked who he would want Rangers to face in the first knockout round of the competition, with the draw taking place on Monday. He picked four teams, who he feels Rangers have a chance of beating.
“I don’t know who LASK are so them,” . “Look, every team that’s there has earned the right to be in the round of 32. There are a lot of tough ties. There are ones you would look at and prefer.
“I would hope for LASK, Malmo, Genk, Braga. Ibrox, Scott Arfield touched on it, gives Rangers a chance against anybody. The tempo they set from the first whistle is outstanding. They get the crowd right behind them, and have every chance.”

Miller has picked the best four chances – as well as Espanyol – for Rangers to qualify for the last 16. But do Gerrard and Rangers want a lesser-known team that they have a strong chance of dispatching, or a big side to test how far they have come?
Rangers could take on Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan or Ajax. Getting one of those big sides, and impressing in the knockout tie, could see Rangers finally get the plaudits they rightly deserve.
