Kenny Dalglish thinks Jurgen Klopp will soon pick £75k-a-week Liverpool fringe player
Sir Kenny Dalglish believes that Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino is in line for some much-needed game time soon.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds at the start of last year, arriving from Red Bull Salzburg after his £7.25million buyout clause was activated.
However, Minamino has struggled for regular first-team minutes for much of his time at Anfield, with just 12 starts to his name and 30 appearances overall.

Despite looking bright in pre-season, he remains on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s team, and remained an unused substitute for Liverpool’s last four Premier League games.
With the Reds set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday, Dalglish reckons the forward will be given the opportunity to impress.
“It’ll be interesting to see what happens next week at Old Trafford,” he told Kenn7Dalglish on . “There might be a few of the boys coming back who need a game.
“The boys who never play like Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones – he’ll get a game. Minamino will get a game.
“So it’ll be a strong team, but it’ll be interesting to see what he does at centre-back.”

Minamino’s arrival at Liverpool last year was met with a lot of anticipation, with many fans hoping Klopp had unearthed a gem from the Salzburg conveyor belt.
However, things haven’t exactly gone to plan thus far for the Japan international, with first-team minutes few and far between.
Hopefully Dalglish is right in that Klopp will give Minamino the chance to impress against the Red Devils and he’ll take it with both hands.
