‘Keep an eye on him’: Alasdair Gold says Spurs want to sign ‘tremendous’ talent who plays like Grealish
Alasdair Gold has Tottenham Hotspur fans to “keep an eye” on Spurs potentially moving for Bristol City’s Alex Scott.
Tottenham have been linked with the 18-year-old attacking talent for a few months now.
At the end of February, claimed that Spurs were leading the race to sign Scott.

repeated the claim in April, also reporting that Tottenham were up against Leeds for his signature.
That report claimed City were looking for £10million for the talented teenager.
“All the right attributes”
Scott enjoyed a superb breakthrough campaign this term, making 38 Championship appearances for the Robins.
The Guernsey-born prodigy also registered four goals and two assists in the league.
As per , Scott has earned comparisons with Aston Villa and England ace Jack Grealish.
This is ‘due to dribbling style, both being fouled often, and simply the way that both wear their socks. Hence the ‘Guernsey Grealish’ label.’
And Guernsey FC boss Tony Vance told the same outlet that Scott “has got all the right attributes in terms of nothing fazes him.
“He delivers at whatever level you play him at… He’s got tremendous balance when he moves.
“He can float around the football pitch. He’s looking like a no.10-type player but things can change.”

“Very talented player”
On Wednesday, Gold released his latest YouTube , discussing all things Tottenham.
He touched upon Spurs’ reported transfer targets, including Fraser Forster and Alessandro Bastoni.
Gold then commented about the Robins talent, saying: “I know they really like Alex Scott, 18-year-old, plays for Bristol City.
“He probably, primarily plays on the right, midfielder, but he can also play through the centre.
“He’s played 38 times in the Championship last season, scored four and got two assists.
“At the moment Bristol City’s valuation of him is a little bit higher than what Spurs want to pay.
“So there’s no movement on that right now, but maybe keep an eye on that one, because he’s a player they like.”
Gold admitted he wasn’t sure what Scott’s initial role would be, or whether he’d go out on loan right away.
Nonetheless, he said Scott is a “very talented player” who “certainly wouldn’t be an Under-23s player”.
Gold then reiterated: “Keep an eye on him, Alex Scott, Bristol City, they do certainly really like him.”
