‘Keep an eye’: Gold says Spurs have 3 incredible youngsters in their ranks, ‘huge hopes’ for 17-year-old

Alasdair Gold has named three Tottenham Hotspur youngsters that fans should look out for in the coming years.

The Spurs academy has developed some top talents in recent years.

Harry Kane is the poster boy, while the likes of Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga have also done well.

There are quite a few promising youngsters coming through the ranks right now.

These include Dane Scarlett, Troy Parrott, Harvey White, Nile John and Kion Etete.

On Wednesday, Gold took part in an Ask Me Anything session on , with plenty of Spurs fans getting involved.

One fan asked the football.london correspondent about Tottenham’s stance on strikers come the summer.

Gold named several young Spurs academy strikers who have been impressing.

However, he also predicted Tottenham would buy a new centre-forward in the upcoming transfer window.

“There are huge hopes for Scarlett as long as he keeps his head down and keeps working hard,” wrote Gold.

“Parrott is having a really good season of development at MK Dons and keep an eye on Kion Etete, who is tearing it up at Cheltenham.”

Another fan asked Gold about which current loanees he felt would have a chance of first-team football at N17.

“Troy Parrott is doing really well and I’ve got high hopes for Kion Etete,” he replied.

Scarlett, 17, has made seven first-team appearances and came off the bench against Leeds in February.

Parrott, 20, has made 35 appearances for MK Dons, while Etete, also 20, has played 31 times for Cheltenham.
