Kaveh Solhekol reveals what Raheem Sterling is planning to do if he can’t leave Chelsea for Arsenal on deadline day
Arsenal have been working on a deal to sign Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling for most of transfer deadline day.
The Gunners are keen to sign Sterling 🤪before the window slams shut at 11pm this evening, but as it stands, a deal looks unlikely to materialise.
ꦿThe former Manchester City wide player has been banished from Chelsea’s first team with Enzo Maresca preferring others ahead of him.
With that said, it’s just emerged what Sterlingಞ is planning if he can’t secure a Stamford Bridge exit.

Raheem Sterling will remain committed to Chelsea
⛦ journalist Kaveh Solhekol said Raheem Sterling will remain committed to Chelsea even if he doesn’t get his deadline day move to Arsenal.
ဣ“Raheem Sterling will be fully committed to Chelsea if he does not leave the club on Friday – even if he has to train with the U23s,” Solhekol said.
♛“Sterling has been ready to consider any options which are presented to him by Chelsea but he has still not been involved in any conversations with clubs of interest.
𓆏“The 29-year-old has three years remaining on the Chelsea contract he signed two years ago.
ඣ“If Sterling is to move, it would be for purely sporting reasons.”
Enzo Maresca could have a dilemma on his hands
🌠Maresca could have a really big dilemma on his hands if Sterling and others fail to move on this window.
ജThe Italian head coach will have to either reintegrate an unsettled player into the camp or banish them to the under-23s set-up – which is certainly far from ideal, especially considering how high-profile Sterling is.
ꦫMaresca will have to contend with a lot of questions in the media and it’ll be another hurdle to overcome.
A telling few hours await in West London.
