Karamoko Dembele and Adam Montgomery react as Celtic sell player to Premier League club
Celtic have confirmed that defender Leo Hjelde has left the club to join Leeds – and both Karamoko Dembele and Adam Montgomery has reacted.
Hjelde, 18, has been strongly linked with a move to Leeds for some time – even since the January window. Eventually, a deal has gone through.
The talented Norway Under-18 international was first on the Yorkshire side’s radar before he went on loan to Ross County.
He impressed under then-County boss John Hughes, playing 12 times for the Scottish Premiership side. He even opened his professional account.

Dembele and Montgomery react as Hjelde joins Leeds from Celtic
It is the fourth signing Leeds have made at Under-23 level. Gaining promotion to Premier League 2’s top tier, new signings were needed.
Hjelde follows midfielders Sean McGurk and Lewis Bate in joining from Wigan and Chelsea, while Amari Miller comes from Birmingham City.
