Kalvin Phillips reacts to Sam Greenwood goal in Leeds win
Kalvin Phillips was amongst those to reply to Sam Greenwood on Instagram after the Leeds United youngster scored yet another free-kick as the Whites kicked off pre-season with a win.
Greenwood established himself as one of the best talents in the youth ranks during his first season at Thorp Arch last year.

But he also proved something else. He showed on numerous occasions that he boasts an amazing ability from dead ball situations.
The likes of Sunderland, West Brom and Aston Villa were all beaten from distance by the 19-year-old in Premier League 2.
And he has taken little time to pick up where he left off last season at the start of the new campaign.

Greenwood scored Leeds’s second as they beat Guiseley on Tuesday. Unsurprisingly, it came from a free-kick 20 yards out.
The former Arsenal man managed to send the ball into the top corner from a fairly central position.
Understandably, many of the supporters felt compelled to laud Greenwood for the strike. They are hoping to see him get more chances for Marcelo Bielsa’s men in the coming months.
And Greenwood has also now been lauded by many of his teammates on Instagram.
The striker posted a couple of outstanding images from the game. In the first, many of his teammates are laughing in a way that suggests that they knew what would happen when he put the ball down to take the free-kick.
‘Getting silly now mate’: Sam Greenwood lauded by Leeds teammates
But the most remarkable photo comes from just a few moments before. Greenwood has barely struck the ball and yet, Joe Gelhardt can seemingly be shown celebrating next to him…
That belief that Greenwood would always score comes across in many of the replies from his teammates to his Instagram post.
But perhaps the most significant reply comes from Phillips. If there is any player whose path the under-23s will want to follow, it is surely the England international’s.
So his praise will surely mean a lot…
