Kalvin Phillips reacts to Robbie Gotts Instagram after goal
Kalvin Phillips was amongst those to send a message to former Leeds United prospect Robbie Gotts on Instagram after the midfielder scored his first goal since leaving Elland Road in the summer.
The 21-year-old has made a superb start to life at Barrow. It surprised plenty of Leeds fans when he ended the window by dropping down to League Two.

He has been excellent so far. And he marked his sixth appearance for the club by scoring his first goal.
Gotts broke the deadlock 48 minutes into their 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient. He produced an outstanding finish into the top corner after getting onto the end of a brilliant through ball.

Unsurprisingly, the midfielder wanted to take to social media following the game to express his delight at opening his account for the club.
And amongst those to reply to Gotts was Phillips…

Gotts’ stay in League Two surely a brief one following first Barrow goal
It is becoming clear why Marcelo Bielsa decided to let Gotts leave Elland Road in the summer.
For some time, it appeared that he was destined to follow in the footsteps of Jamie Shackleton and secure a permanent spot in the first-team.
However, he was not given a chance to kick on after making his debut. That was arguably down to Leeds securing promotion and finding themselves in the Premier League.
But Gotts has been superb since leaving permanently. And with that, it is surely fair to suggest that his stay in League Two will only be a brief one.
It remains to be seen how far he can go. But it does appear that Leeds letting him go has possibly left him with the best chance to realise his full potential.
