Kai Havertz and Declan Rice seriously impressed by £180k-a-week Arsenal player v Crystal Palace

Arsenal hammered Crystal Palace yesterday as they got back to winning ways in fine fashion at The Emirates.

Goals had been a problem for the Gunners in recent weeks but there were no such issues yesterday as Mikel Arteta’s side burst into life again.

There were two goals apiece for Brazilian duo Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel 🍃Martinelli, while Leandro Trossard sc🀅ored in between to ensure an easy win.

Martinelli shines for Arsenal v Palace

Of course, the big plus for Arsenal and Arteta was seeing Martin𓃲elli get in among the goals. The strikers have not quite fired this season and seeing the bacౠk on song will be a huge life for the club.

Huge bonus

As if winning the game comfortably wasn’t enough for Arsenal, seeing one of their star forwards get on the s🔯coresheet was als🅷o a huge bonus as well.

Arsenal are♐ going to be reliant on the likes of Martinelli and co if they are to re﷽ally maintain the title charge.

For all the talk of getting a new striker like Ivan Toney or Dominic Solanke, someone like Martinelli could act🐻ually be the ma🔯n Arsenal turn to for goals.

The Brazilian has sho♐wn he can do the business last season. Martinelli excelled both in terms of scoring and creating goals and Arsenal will need more of that between now and May.

Interesting🥀ly, Gabriel Jesus seemed to play wi🅠de at times yesterday which suggests that Arteta is open to moving his forwards around.

Given Martinelli’s pace in behind, playing him down the middle remains a solid option. And with the confidence he showed in front of goal y༒esterday, Martinelli as central striker could be a game changer.
