K League player shares what everyone was saying about Emerson Royal after facing Tottenham in friendly
Tottenham Hotspur defender Emerson Royal may have just played his final game for the club on Wednesday.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side sealed their fourth victory of the summer in their latest outing against the K League All Star XI.
Spurs are back in action again on the weekend when they face Bayern Munich in Seoul, but it is yet to be seen whether Emerson Royal will feature.
Tottenham are locked in talks with AC Milan over a potential deal to see Emerson join the Italian giants over the coming days.
Emerson started the game at centre-back alongside Ben Davies with Tottenham still missing their starting centre-back pairing.
Although it may have been his final game in a Spurs shirt, it seems all of the opposition players were left saying the same thing about the Brazilian full-back.

What K League players were all saying about Emerson Royal
It is fair to say, Spurs ran away with the game in the opening 45 minutes as Heung-min Son put on a show in his homeland.
The South Korea captain was playing against some of his national teammates who could only watch on as he netted two stunning goals.
But the K League All Stars were able to come back into the game as changes were made by the Tottenham manager.
Emerson Royal maye have been spun about by Yang Min-hyeok – Tottenham’s latest signing – but it seems the full-back left a positive impression on his opposing players.
Speaking after the game to South Korean outlet , full-back Choi Jun admitted all of his teammates were left impressed by Emerson.
“Emerson Royal. Everyone in the K league team said Royal was the most impressive. He was a wall, defensively incredible,” he said.
It may be hard for some Spurs fans to agree with him, but it will certainly be music to the ears of any AC Milan fans.
Emerson set for Tottenham exit with AC Milan looming
It has recently been suggested that Tottenham and AC Milan have struck an agreement for Emerson to make the move to the San Siro.
According to reports from Italy, the deal is believed to be valued around €15million (£12.7million) plus €3million (£2.5million) in add-ons.
It is a move which Emerson has admitted he wanted to happen after hearing of AC Milan’s interest earlier this summer.
And it is a deal which not too many Tottenham fans will lose sleep over with Djed Spence already looking like he is reviving his career over the four pre-season games.
