Juventus swoop for Sanchez could leave them unable to compete for Eriksen
Juventus are ready to battle Real Madrid for Tottenham contract rebel Christian Eriksen this summer,
Eriksen still has not signed a new contract with Spurs, meaning that he enters the final 12 months of his current deal at the end of the season.
That (Daily Mail) means that Tottenham would rather sell him this summer rather than lose him for nothing in a year’s time, and Juventus have been linked.
But that the Italian giants are lining up a bid to take Manchester United’s £500,000-a-week winger during the summer as well.

But with a bumper deal for Aaron Ramsey already agreed, it remains to be seen how much Juventus can afford to stump up in the forthcoming window, especially with Cristiano Ronaldo’s monster transfer last summer.
Can they afford Sanchez’s huge wages and a swoop for Eriksen, as well as Ramsey? Potentially, and they could always make some sales to finance it – but it would be an ask.
And that means that Spurs may not face an auction for Eriksen. That could boost their hopes of convincing the Dane to extend his contract but on the other hand, may not push the price up towards the level Daniel Levy wants.
