Juventus really want ‘quality’ Arsenal player who Mikel Arteta signed in 2023
Serie A giants Juventus have set their sights on an Arsenal player this summer, according to a recent report.
Arsenal sporting director Edu will be hard at work identifying a number of targets to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer.
Arteta will be keen to add depth in a number of areas as they fell just short of title-winners Manchester City last term.
Though, like most clubs in the Premier League, they’ll have to trade in the window in order to bring players in.
With that said, Juventus are keen on signing an Arsenal defender.

Juventus want Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior
According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, via , Juventus have made Jakub Kiwior a concrete target.
That’s come after cooling their interest in Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori, who is considered too expensive.
Kiwior, who has been labelled ‘quality’ by , worked under new Juve manager Thiago Motta during their spell together at Spezia, so there is likely to be a direct line of communication between the two parties.
Whether Arsenal would be willing to sanction his sale remains to be seen given he only joined the club in a £20m deal in January 2023, as per .
Arsenal must keep Jakub Kiwior
Kiwior has a lot to offer Arsenal so the club shouldn’t entertain any forthcoming proposals this window.
The 24-year-old struggled to get up to speed initially but there were clear signs of progression last season and he’s only going to get better.
Oleksandr Zinchenko was a liability at times and may well drop below Kiwior in the pecking order, so the Poland international should hold firm and fight for his place.
Further, Juve are unlikely to offer much more than what Arsenal paid for him, so it’s not really worth their time.
