Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on a shock swoop to sign Juventus veteran Leonardo Bonucci this summer. The imminent arrival of sporting director Fabio Paratici could see Spurs raid his current employers – and Juventus fans have discussed the potential of Bonucci joining Tottenham.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb say Paratici is on the verge of joining Tottenham after Juventus announced his exit last month. It was expected that he would be joined by Antonio Conte at Spurs – but talks have broken down. Paratici, though, is still expected to join and Bonucci is being eyed.
Indeed, that Bonucci could follow Paratici to Spurs. The 102-time Italy international has a contract at Juventus until the summer of 2024 – but after 442 Juve games, he might feel like he wants a change. He has emerged as a target for Premier League clubs on numerous occasions.

One of Paratici’s first briefs in the role will be to stop Tottenham from conceding so many goals from self-inflicted mistakes. New defenders are needed. A leader, one with experience and one that can teach Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon. Bonucci might the perfect addition.
