‘Just wow’: Some fans blown away by Leeds loanee’s ‘engine and composure’ last night

Leeds United academy graduate Robbie Gotts is continuing to make a name for himself away from Elland Road on loan.

The versatile 21-year-old youngster, who has made for Leeds thus far, secured a season-long switch to Lincoln on 15 October.

To date, Gotts has made seven appearances for the Imps, having had to bide his time for minutes initially as he was kept on the bench for the October games.

He made his first appearance in the red and white stripes on 3 November, in a League One loss to Portsmouth, and has featured in each of their games since.

Gotts was in action on Tuesday night, helping Lincoln to a second consecutive league win as Wigan were beaten 2-1 at Sincil Bank.

The Leeds loanee, deployed at right-back, not only defended admirably – two tackles, two interceptions and two clearances – but also attacked well, registering two shots, one on target, plus eight crosses two key passes ().

Needless to say, Lincoln fans are really taking to Gotts and, after last night’s win, praised his efforts on the night:

Lincoln sit second in League One, the win secured thanks to goals from Jorge Grant and Tom Hopper which cancelled out Kai Naismith’s 52nd-minute opener.
