Just months after Everton exit Henry Onyekuru could be on the move again
This summer saw Everton concede defeat regarding a long-term future at the club for Nigerian attacker Henry Onyekuru.
Everton sold the player to French side Monaco this summer for a fee in the region of £12 million.
Signed from KAS Eupen in ato be worth £7 million in 2017, the 22-year-old has never qualified for clearance to play in the UK. He, therefore, left Goodison Park without ever having played a competitive game for Everton.
It was a shame for Everton as in his season-long spell on loan at Galatasaray last season, the Nigerian highlighted what he might be able to offer Everton.
Onyekuru scored 16 goals as a winger for the Turkish giants last season, including the goal that won them the Turkish Super Lig.
However, it seems the former Everton man is struggling in the principality and could already be on his way back to Istanbul.
, Monaco have given Onyekuru the green-light to head back to Galatasaray on an 18-month loan deal. The fee involved would be €2.5 million (£2.1m). The Nigerian is reportedly desperate to return to the club where he enjoyed two successful loan spells from Everton.
His time at Monaco has been hindered by hamstring trouble and now it seems, just months after leaving Everton, Onyekuru could be on the move yet again.
