Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard very impressed by 26-year-old Arsenal player last night
Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber were amongst the Arsenal players who sent a message to Ben White on Instagram after the right-back scored a brilliant goal in the emphatic win over Sheffield United on Monday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men made a further statement in the Premier League title race. For much of Monday’s clash at Bramall Lane, Sheffield United fans must have feared that they would be writing their name in the record books as Arsenal ran riot.
Mercifully however, Arsenal would only score once in the second-half. And it was Ben White who bagged the goal, firing the ball into the bottom corner from just inside the area.
Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber praise Ben White on Instagram after Arsenal win
White, of course, is not known for his goalscoring capabilities. That was his second of the season, and only his fourth in 120 games in an Arsenal shirt.

That may perhaps help explain Martin Odegaard‘s reply to White on after Monday’s game, while there was also responses from Jurrien Timber, Edu Gaspar, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Magalhaes…

Six different goalscorers
Sheffield United are returning to the Championship at a rapid speed right now. Nevertheless, Arsenal showed just how dangerous they can be in that first-half.
Remarkably, they had six different goalscorers on the night. That just highlights that stopping one player in the Gunners side does not come close to stopping the entire team.
Arsenal have now scored 31 goals across their last seven Premier League games. That means that they average well over four goals per game in this recent run. That is an outrageous return at a time when they know that Liverpool or Manchester City could be perfect for what remains in the campaign.
And when you have your left-back producing no-look assists, and your right-back firing strikes into the bottom corner, you probably know that you can be a match for anyone.
