Jurgen Klopp will assess further loan deal for Rhian Brewster

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have a decision to make regarding youngster Rhian Brewster, as Swansea City are reportedly keen on having him on loan again next season. 

The Reds allowed the talented England youth star to head out on loan to the Liberty Stadium in January to gain first-team experience in the Championship.

Klopp is known to be a big fan of Brewster. The German denied a loan move for the player last summer as he wanted him to fully recover from a serious ankle injury before making such a move. , Klopp spoke very warmly of Brewster’s talents at the time.


“I love the boy, he is [a] fantastic player. Why should I play it down?”

“Rhian Brewster is a top striker, he is a top talent and I have told him already that he has an important role this year – but how important depends on him.”


in the summer of 2018 that Klopp shelved plans to sign German international Timo Werner as he felt Brewster was ready for the first-team. 

Injuries delayed that from being the case but now, two years down the line, Liverpool are again said to be in the running for the £51 million German and Brewster is wanted elsewhere. 

It will be interesting to see if Klopp once again decides to go with Brewster or believes the time is not quite right and lures the RB Leipzig star to Anfield.
