Jurgen Klopp shares ‘great’ Liverpool player update he found out just minutes before pre-match presser
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that new signing Ozan Kabak is available to feature against Manchester City on Sunday.
The 20-year-old joined the Reds on loan from Schalke on transfer deadline day.
According to , the Bundesliga side pocketed an initial loan fee of £1million, rising to £1.5million in potential add-ons.

Liverpool will retain an option to buy in the summer worth an initial £18million, which could rise to £26.5million with add-ons, and will have until June to trigger that clause, added the report.
Kabak did not feature in the defeat to Brighton, but he has since received international clearance – something Klopp found out minutes before his pre-match press conference.
“International clearance, yes,” the Liverpool boss told , after consulting the club press officer beside him.
“Obviously in the last 10 minutes because 10 minutes ago nobody told me that. Great!”
Klopp also said he’d normally want a couple of weeks to work on key aspects of the game before throwing new players in, but acknowledged this would be the case in an “ideal world”.
He added that Alisson, Fabinho and Sadio Mane – who all missed the Brighton match – all featured in parts of training on Friday, saying “we’ll see” in terms of availability at Anfield on Sunday.

With Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and now Joel Matip ruled out long term, the reigning Premier League champions were forced into action in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
Two central defenders have arrived at Anfield – Ben Davies from Championship side Preston, and Turkey international Kabak on loan from Schalke.
The availability of Kabak and Davies could see at least one of the pair start at centre-back against City, with captain Jordan Henderson potentially returning to midfield.
Not ideal to throw a new signing into the starting XI against a team as powerful as City, but things aren’t ideal at Anfield right now, so there’s a good chance of it happening.
