Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita’s grasp of English is improving
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Naby Keita’s understanding of English is improving, as he prepares to return to the first-team.
The Guinean dynamo has been working his back to full fitness after first sustaining an adductor problem at Barcelona last season.

He featured against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup last week, but was left out against Sheffield United at the weekend so he could continue to work on his fitness.
It remains to be seen if he will have any participation against RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Speaking about the 24-year-old, Klopp said (): “The last talk I had with him was in English and it looked like he understood what I said. That is a big step. He is here long enough now. It was a big step for him to come here from Leipzig with big expectations, and hopefully you all still remember how good he started.”

Fans will be pleased to hear that Keita’s grasp of the English language is getting better, as it could help him become more confident and expressive.

It will certainly make things much easier for him going forwards and could help him to finally flourish at Anfield.
Communication and understanding are so important, and the seemingly shy and unassuming Keita has the potential to become a force if the shackles are released.
