Jurgen Klinsmann ‘open and willing’ for club management return amid Tottenham Hotspur rumours
Jurgen Klinsmann is ‘open and willing’ to a return to club management, according to ESPN football reported Herculez Gomez.
Gomez, a former United States international himself, conducted an interview with Klinsmann for ESPN FC this week.
In the videos, the pair covered several different topics including the current state of football in CONCACAF and Klinsmann’s time in charge of the US men’s national team.
As Gomez stated on Twitter, his future was also addressed. He stated that Klinsmann is ‘ready for another challenge’ after being out of the game since losing the USMNT job in November 2016.
Jürgen Klinsmann tells me his daughter just finished school and he’s ready for another challenge.
Rumored with China, Ecuador, & Tottenham (if Pochetino leaves).
Club or Country. He’s open and willing.
Here a bit of that interview.

Of course, this will be most pertinent to Tottenham Hotspur fans.
Klinsmann is a cult hero among Tottenham supporters and has recently been linked with the manager role in North London.
Klinsmann would be keen on taking over from Mauricio Pochettino should the Argentine leave the club.

Pochettino’s future at Tottenham has been cast into doubt recently after a poor start to the new season and amid fresh rumours of unrest over transfer activity at the club.
Coincidentally the only club team Klinsmann has managed, Bayern Munich, amped up that pressure yesterday by thrashing Tottenham 7-2 in North London.
While it may seem like a long shot at present, it would certainly appear that Klinsmann will be an option if Tottenham find themselves without a manager in the weeks to come.
