‘Jurgen defo burst out laughing’: Some Liverpool fans react to what Solskjaer has said

A number of Liverpool fans have reacted to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s fitness update ahead of the Reds facing Manchester United on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges head to Old Trafford in great form – they’re still unbeaten this season and have won their last two matches.

Both Liverpool and United won their Champions League games in midweek by a 3-2 scoreline.

However, Sunday’s hosts haven’t been in great form over the past few weeks.

They’ve lost four of their last eight in all competitions and have gone four games without a win in the league.

Speaking to the press on Friday, Solskjaer said several United players, including Bruno Fernandes, were carrying knocks.

“We might have the whole squad back fit or we might be two or three players down,” he .

“We didn’t have everyone [at training] today but let’s see on Sunday, we have two or three carrying knocks from the game.

“I hope I can pick from a fully fit squad or I might be without two or three.

“Bruno might be a doubt but he’s doing everything he can to be ready.”

Some of the Anfield faithful, however, reckon the United boss is just playing mind games and could unleash his strongest squad on Sunday.

United currently sit sixth in the Premier League table on 14 points, while Liverpool are second on 18 points, one behind leaders Chelsea.
